How do I place a Request for Quotation (RFQ)?

Finding the right manufacturer for your project can be challenging. By placing your project on Manufy you automatically reach out to our network of certified manufacturers. Suited manufacturers that are qualified for the job will be notified and have to opportunity to come back to you with an offer.

You can easily create a new Request in your personal Dashboard. Just click the 'New Project' button and you'll be taken to the RFQ modal where you enter the following details:

Step 1. Enter project details :

  1. Describe your project name: so you can easily find it back later eg. Midnight collection 24'

  2. Preferred delivery date: give an average of a month time for sampling

  3. Mode of Transport: Select preferred mode of transport of production

  4. Manufy Values: show you care and understanding of the importance of a more enviromental resposible and ethical fashion industry by adding these values to your production!

  5. Sourcing countries - what preferences you have

Step 2. Fill out details about your product like:

  1. Product type and category (dresses, t-shits, shorts...)

  2. quantity and price per piece

  3. technical drawing (teck pack)
    Make your quotation request stand out by adding a technical drawing. Do you need help putting together a tech pack? Contact us via [email protected] and we will reach out to you to assist you in creating a great tech pack.

Step 3: Include product specifications like:

  • Design Concept/inspiration: Include any inspiration or references

  • Fabric Information: Specify the type of fabric(s) to be used, including the composition, weight, color, and any specific requirements (e.g., stretch, texture, or special finishes).

  • Measurements: Include a comprehensive size chart detailing measurements for different sizes (e.g., XS, S, M, L, XL) based on industry standards.

  • Construction Details: Outline specific construction details, such as seams, stitching techniques, and closures (e.g., buttons, zippers, snaps). Specify any unique features, trims, or embellishments required.

  • Colours and Prints: Clearly indicate the desired colours using standard color codes (e.g., Pantone or RGB values). If the design includes prints or patterns, provide high-quality artwork files and specify the printing technique (e.g., digital print, screen print).

  • Labeling and Branding: Specify the placement, size, and design of any labels, tags, or logos to be included on the garment. Provide digital versions of your brand logo or any other branding elements.

  • Finishing Instructions: Include instructions for finishing details, such as hemming, edge treatments, and any special requirements for ironing, steaming, or packaging.

Step 4. Confirm the quotation request and we will notify suitable manufacturers about your project.
