To create a high-quality project on Manufy and connect with the right manufacturers or partners, it’s helpful to gather the following information ahead of time. This will ensure a smooth setup process and increase your chances of receiving relevant, high-quality responses.

1. General Project Info

  • Project Name: A clear and descriptive title for your collection or concept (e.g. Sport Collection).

  • Requested Services: Choose what you need: Manufacturing, Clean Materials & Sourcing, or Circular Design Methods.

  • Manufy Values (optional): Select sustainability values that are important to your brand, such as Ethical Labor or Made in Europe. These help manufacturers understand your priorities.

2. Clean Materials & Sourcing Request

  • Your Request: A short title for the material or sourcing need.

  • Detailed Description: Explain the materials you're looking for or the sourcing challenge.

  • Preferred Delivery Date

  • Relevant Files (optional): Upload references or specifications to support your request.

3. Manufacturing Request

  • Product Name: Name of the item (e.g. Unisex Hoodie).

  • Category: Choose the product type from the dropdown (e.g. t-shirt, hoodie, dress).

  • Specifications: Include product details such as sizing, finishes, trims, etc.

  • Fabric Needs: Select whether you have your own fabrics or need help sourcing.

  • Tech Pack: Upload your technical drawing or indicate if you need help or will provide it later.

  • Target Price & Quantity: Add an estimated price per unit and how many units you're looking to produce.

  • Preferred Delivery Date

  • Upload Files: Upload your tech pack, visuals, or other references.

4. Circular Design Methods Request

  • Your Request: A short title for your design-related need.

  • Detailed Description: Describe what kind of design support you're looking for (e.g. guidance on recyclability, design for disassembly, modularity, etc.).

  • Preferred Delivery Date

  • Upload Files: Attach any sketches, concepts, or supporting documents.

Pro Tips for Better Results

  • Be as clear and specific as possible, especially with materials, timelines, and quantity.

  • Use the upload option to attach tech packs or reference images — this helps manufacturers assess your request more accurately.

  • If you're unsure what to include, start with what you have — but the more detail you provide, the more relevant the responses you’ll get.
